I am proud to announce the fact that Wear & Tear Solutions B.V. (W&TS) has become the exclusive representative of Siwaco GmbH as per May 1st 2009 for the dredging, mining and sand and gravel industry.
Siwaco is a German quality foundry, established in Netphen/Deuz and part of the Irle-Group. We have been working closely with this foundry for many years.

Over the past 22 years, we got to know Siwaco GmbH as a very reliable partner, with a good price-quality ratio and short and reliable delivery times, especially compared to the competition in this field. Their casting capacity is 40 ton gross, which means that a nett weight of a piece of 30 ton is absolutely no problem.

The representation consists of consultancy in the field of all wear-resistant casted parts and the sale thereof. These parts are casted from so-called white cast-iron sorts, such ad Maxidur, Mohard, Nihard and related qualities.

Siwaco GmbH is able to deliver hand formed castings, but also has a special department where wear-resistant tube-sections are produced, by means of rotation-casting. This production method mainly improves the compaction and the structure of the material. The structure becomes finer and compacted, and the wear resistance and also the lifetime will be extended, compared to materials casted with form sand.

Furthermore W&TS and Siwaco have recently technically improved a material which already existed.

We call it: SIWEAR-BN
Siwear-BN is at least as wear-resistant as caststeel GS47VA and GS32NiCrMo14.4.2 but also has considerable elasticity at higher hardnesses. A more than interesting development, especially with regards to price, quality and delivery time. The material is very suitable for pump housings, impellers and other pump parts.
